White Sangria

A lighter and fresher version of sangria based on white wine and summer fruits.

• 1 bottle white wine (750 ml)
• 50 ml brandy or peach liqueur
• Sliced peach, green apple and grapes
• 2–3 tbsp sugar
• Top with soda water
• Lots of ice

Method

   Chill the serving glass in advance with ice or in the freezer.

   Measure all ingredients carefully with a jigger for consistent flavour.

   Shake with ice for 10 to 15 seconds or stir in a mixing glass depending on style.

   Strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice or serve up, depending on drink type.

   Top with sparkling mixer if needed and stir gently.

   Garnish and serve immediately while temperature and balance are optimal.
