The cult Swedish dish Flying Jacob with chicken, cream, chilli sauce, banana and peanuts. A nostalgic 1970s favourite with a sweet and tangy flavour.
Ingredients
- 600 g cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 3 dl whipping cream
- 2 dl sweet chilli sauce
- 150 g bacon, fried and crumbled
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 dl salted peanuts
- 1 dl desiccated coconut
Method
- 1Preheat oven to 225°C.
- 2Place the shredded chicken in an ovenproof dish.
- 3Mix cream and chilli sauce. Pour over the chicken.
- 4Distribute banana slices, bacon, peanuts and coconut evenly over the top.
- 5Bake for 20 minutes until bubbling and heated through.
- 6Serve with basmati rice and a green salad.
