Apple Crumble Pie

Classic Swedish apple crumble with a buttery oat topping. Serve warm with vanilla sauce or ice cream for a perfect dessert.
Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 0.5 dl sugar
- 150 g cold butter
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl sugar (for crumble)
- 1 dl rolled oats
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Method
- 1Preheat oven to 200°C.
- 2Peel and slice the apples. Toss with cinnamon and sugar and place in an ovenproof dish.
- 3Make the crumble: rub cold butter into flour, sugar, oats and vanilla sugar until crumbly.
- 4Spread the crumble evenly over the apples.
- 5Bake for 30–35 minutes until the crumble is golden and the apples are soft.
- 6Serve warm with vanilla sauce, cream or vanilla ice cream.
