Salmon rolls with horseradish cream cheese

Thin slices of gravlax or smoked salmon wrapped around a creamy horseradish and dill cream cheese – elegant Easter party food.
Ingredients
- 200 g gravlax or smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 200 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp grated horseradish (jar or fresh)
- 1 tbsp chopped dill
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and white pepper
- Dill sprigs to garnish
Method
- 1Mix cream cheese with grated horseradish, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt and white pepper. Taste – the horseradish flavour should come through clearly.
- 2Place a salmon slice flat on a chopping board. Spread a thin layer of the cream along one of the short edges.
- 3Roll the salmon slice tightly around the filling. Repeat with the remaining slices.
- 4Place the rolls seam-side down on a serving plate. Chill for at least 20 minutes.
- 5Garnish with dill sprigs and serve cold as finger food or a starter.
