Classic Swedish tuna spread with mayonnaise, crème fraîche, red onion and capers. Perfect on toast or crispbread for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna in water (185 g each), drained
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 0.5 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • toast or crispbread to serve

Method

  1. 1Drain the tuna thoroughly and flake into a bowl with a fork.
  2. 2Add mayonnaise, crème fraîche, red onion, capers and dill. Stir to combine.
  3. 3Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4Serve on toast or crispbread, garnished with extra dill and lemon wedges if desired.
