The cult Swedish dish Flying Jacob with chicken, cream, chilli sauce, banana and peanuts. A nostalgic 1970s favourite with a sweet and tangy flavour.

Ingredients

  • 600 g cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 3 dl whipping cream
  • 2 dl sweet chilli sauce
  • 150 g bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 dl salted peanuts
  • 1 dl desiccated coconut

Method

  1. 1Preheat oven to 225°C.
  2. 2Place the shredded chicken in an ovenproof dish.
  3. 3Mix cream and chilli sauce. Pour over the chicken.
  4. 4Distribute banana slices, bacon, peanuts and coconut evenly over the top.
  5. 5Bake for 20 minutes until bubbling and heated through.
  6. 6Serve with basmati rice and a green salad.
