Traditional Greek meatballs flavored with fresh mint, oregano, and a hint of cinnamon. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef or lamb
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 dl breadcrumbs soaked in milk
  • 1 egg
  • Fresh mint and parsley, chopped
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. 1Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Knead until smooth.
  2. 2Roll into small balls.
  3. 3Dredge lightly in flour and fry in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. 4Serve with tzatziki and pita bread.
