Traditional Greek meatballs flavored with fresh mint, oregano, and a hint of cinnamon. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef or lamb
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 dl breadcrumbs soaked in milk
- 1 egg
- Fresh mint and parsley, chopped
- Dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
Method
- 1Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Knead until smooth.
- 2Roll into small balls.
- 3Dredge lightly in flour and fry in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through.
- 4Serve with tzatziki and pita bread.
