Juicy chicken thighs sautéed with fresh garlic and aromatic thyme. A simple and flavorful weekday dinner that pairs perfectly with rice or potatoes.
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken thighs
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (or 1 tsp dried)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
Method
- 1Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3Fry the chicken for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- 4Lower heat slightly, add garlic and thyme, and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- 5Squeeze over the lemon juice and let simmer for 1 minute.
- 6Check that the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C). Serve with your choice of sides.
