Baked Salmon Fillet with Dill and Lemon

Whole salmon fillet baked in the oven with butter, fresh dill and lemon. Easy to prepare and perfect when cooking for a crowd.
Ingredients
- 1 kg salmon fillet with skin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh dill
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp white pepper
- 50 g butter, sliced
Method
- 1Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2Place the salmon skin-side down on the tray. Brush with olive oil.
- 3Season with salt and pepper. Scatter the garlic slices and dill over the salmon.
- 4Lay the lemon slices and butter on top.
- 5Bake for 15–20 minutes depending on thickness, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
- 6Serve immediately with boiled potatoes or broccoli and a squeeze of lemon.
