Fluffy and golden krabbelurer – Swedish thick drop pancakes perfect for fika. Serve with jam and cream for a classic experience.
Ingredients
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 50 g melted butter
- butter for frying
Method
- 1Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl.
- 2Whisk together milk, eggs and melted butter in another bowl.
- 3Combine wet and dry ingredients into a smooth batter.
- 4Heat a frying pan over medium heat with a little butter. Drop spoonfuls of batter (about 1 tbsp each) into the pan.
- 5Fry until bubbles have set on the top surface, then flip and cook until golden on the other side.
- 6Serve warm with jam and whipped cream.
