Popular Swedish taco pie with minced beef, taco spice mix and a tortilla base. A simple and filling weeknight dinner the whole family enjoys.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 dl water
- 4 tortilla wraps
- 2 dl salsa
- 2 dl crème fraîche
- 200 g grated cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- 0.5 iceberg lettuce, shredded
Method
- 1Preheat oven to 200°C.
- 2Brown the mince in a frying pan. Add taco seasoning and water as per packet instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3Lay the tortillas in a large ovenproof dish or on a baking tray – they form the base.
- 4Layer the mince, salsa and crème fraîche over the tortillas.
- 5Scatter grated cheese over the top.
- 6Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Garnish with tomato and lettuce.
