The classic Russian potato salad with chicken, carrots, eggs, pickles and green peas bound with mayonnaise. A festive salad favorite at celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes, cooked and diced
  • 2 carrots, cooked and diced
  • 150 g green peas (frozen, thawed)
  • 3 pickles, diced
  • 200 g cooked chicken or ham, diced
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, diced
  • 4–5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dill, chopped, to garnish

Method

    Combine potatoes, carrots, peas, pickles, chicken or ham and eggs in a large bowl.

    Mix with mayonnaise until well coated. Season with salt and pepper.

    Sprinkle with dill and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve cold.
