Homemade crunchy granola with oats, honey, mixed nuts, and dried fruit. Great with milk, yoghurt, or as a topping.

Ingredients

8servings
  • 4 dl rolled oats
  • 1 dl mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts)
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 dl dried cranberries or raisins

Method

  1. 1
Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2
Mix oats, nuts, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Combine honey and oil separately, then pour over the oat mixture and stir well.
  3. 3
Spread evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden.
  4. 4
Leave the granola to cool completely on the tray — it will crisp up as it cools. Stir in dried fruit and store in an airtight jar.
