Oats soaked overnight in milk or yoghurt and served cold with fresh fruit and berries. A quick, healthy breakfast that requires no cooking in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 dl rolled oats
  • 1.5 dl milk or oat milk
  • 3 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla
  • Fresh berries, banana or mango for topping

Method

    Combine oats, milk, yoghurt, chia seeds, honey and vanilla in a jar or bowl.

    Stir well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.

    In the morning, stir and top with fresh berries, sliced banana or other fruit.

    Serve cold straight from the jar. Keeps 2–3 days in the fridge.
