Classic Swedish baked falukorv sausage with onion, cream, crème fraîche and melted cheese. A creamy and filling everyday dinner the whole family loves.

Ingredients

  • 1 falukorv sausage (approx. 500 g), sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 dl whipping cream
  • 1 dl crème fraîche
  • 1 dl grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • butter for the dish

Method

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease an ovenproof dish.

    Slice the falukorv and onion. Layer them in the dish.
  3. 3
    Mix cream, crème fraîche and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the sausage.

    Scatter grated cheese evenly over the top.

    Bake for 25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Serve with boiled potatoes and lingonberry jam.
